STUDIO WEST

In collaboration with LA based conceptual entrepreneur Martine Syms, we developed Studio West as an online studio for practice-based-research. Funding for Studio West came from Stanford Online and the studio was launched (2013) in conjunction with the first Practice Based Research in the Arts massive open online course.

Studio West is a multi-use platform dedicated to an interrogation of practice-based-research in the arts. We invite you to join our international community of artist-scholars, to share your research, and to develop your critical and creative practice. Studio West offers tools for sharing documentation, building personal archives, and provides a flexible platform for dialogue and collaboration.
